Our Story

Built on the belief that everyone deserves dignity

Lapis Disability Care was founded on a simple principle: people with disabilities deserve support that respects their autonomy, celebrates their strengths, and meets them exactly where they are.

We started because we saw too many participants cycling through support workers who didn't understand their needs, navigating NDIS plans written in confusing jargon, and feeling like just another case file in a large organization.

That's not how we work. At Lapis, you're not a number. You have a name, goals, preferences, and the right to support that adapts to youβ€”not the other way around.

Today, we support participants across all Australian states, delivering services that range from daily personal care to psychosocial recovery coaching. But no matter how much we grow, we keep the same philosophy: small enough to care, big enough to deliver.
